Services and Burial

Susan chose a natural, green burial and was returned to the earth in a private ceremony at the Fernwood Cemetery in Marin County on September 23, 2018.

A public memorial for Susan was held at the Sacramento Dharma Center on October 21, 2018.

Susan requested that donations in her memory be made to the David Samuel Orr Fund for the Earth (www.dsoffte.org) and the Sacramento Dharma Center (www.sacdharma.org). Gifts to the Dharma Center will be dedicated to creating a beautiful outdoor space in Susan’s honor.
