By now the sad news has spread on the wind. Susan has left this physical plane. She left with no regrets, feeling loved, loving fully, and having lived a powerfully beautiful and full life.

Susan was a beloved lifelong organizer for peace and justice, a defender of Mother Earth, and an accomplished artist, healer, Buddhist teacher, and spiritual leader.

Flying

As I close my eyes
Wishing I could fly
A flying fish from a luscious sea
I’m sighing
I’m flying

I breathe for the very first time
The weight of the world left far behind
See clearly from high above
I’m crying
I’m flying

I have wings
I can feel the air
I can breathe
Drifting o’er the sea
I am free

Laughing and crashing through waves
Crashing through blues and hues of green
Light filters through to the floor
I’m gliding
I’m flying

As I close my eyes
Wishing I could fly
